Hello, my name is Dr. Dario Pinzon (aka Dr. Pulgas), and I am the owner of Healthy Pets Urgent Care in Lake Mary, Florida, which opened on Monday, April 11th, 2022. I look forward to providing exceptional veterinary care for both new and existing clients!

I graduated from U.D.C.A. in Bogota, Colombia, in 1995. While studying to obtain my license in the United States, I worked as a Veterinary Ophthalmology Technician. I earned my veterinary license in 2006 and have been practicing veterinary medicine in Central Florida ever since.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, attending concerts, boating, and camping in my spare time. I have four rescued dogs and two rescued cats at home: Tulip, Ernesto, Fabio, Fidel, Little Victor, and Clover. Most days, they all accompany me to work... even the cats! They look forward to meeting you, too!

Hi there! My name is Carrie Ryan. I started my career in the veterinary field in 1993. Over the years, I’ve held just about every position (with the exception of DVM) within the veterinary hospital setting including Kennel Technician, Receptionist, Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician, Overnight ER Technician, Lead Technician, Hospital Manager, and now, Owner and Hospital Director of this amazing hospital.

Together with the team I am so proud of, we strive to provide excellent medical care and exceptional customer service to you and your furry (or non-furry – I’m a Sphynx Mom) family members. Our goal is to not just meet but exceed your expectations. My family includes two amazing kids, four dogs, and three cats. (All of them are rescues except the kids!) In my spare time, I enjoy attending my kids’ sporting events and concerts, cooking, baking (and of course eating), traveling, camping, and going to concerts.

Hi! I’m Dr. Kristina Fisher. I’m originally from Austin, Texas, but I made my way to Florida to attend UCF, where I played volleyball and earned my undergraduate degree. I stayed in the Sunshine State to pursue my DVM at the University of Florida and graduated in 2025 with a certificate in Shelter Medicine.

I have a strong interest in emergency and critical care, surgery, and working closely with rescue organizations. I love being hands-on and helping animals when they need it most. I’m passionate about making vet visits as stress-free and approachable as possible for both pets and their people.

Outside of the clinic, I’m usually hanging out with my pack of five, my dogs Laila, Cali, and Stella, and my cats Bodhi and Teddy (or Henry as my husband likes to call him). They keep life full of love, laughs, and plenty of fur!

I’m excited to meet you and your pets, and I look forward to being a part of their care!

Hi, I’m Dr. Victor Ujaque. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with a wide range of clients and make sure they feel supported and understood when it comes to their pets’ care.

I’m passionate about internal medicine and preventive health, and I enjoy taking the time to build strong, lasting relationships with both pets and their families. I believe in practicing with compassion, communication, and attention to detail.

Outside the clinic, I love spending time with my two dogs, Marcelo and Mauricio, and enjoying life with my fiancée. Whether we’re exploring the outdoors or just relaxing at home, my family reminds me every day why I chose this profession. I’m proud to be part of the team at Healthy Pets Urgent Care, and I look forward to caring for your pets like they’re my own.
